One of the best ways that you can support the students in our classroom is to take a few minutes during homework time to help your child select a question stem to use to respond to the text.  If all parents spend just a few minutes working with their child, one-on-one, to develop their written responses, they will become better communicators.  This skill will be beneficial to your children in relationships, in school, and even in job applications/ interviews one day.
